Cheryl D. Waseman, 77, of Robertsville, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026. She was born September 29, 1948, to the late Dale and Annie (Henderson) Hardgrove. Cheryl graduated from Minerva High School in 1966. Throughout her life, she worked various jobs before retiring from Downard Distributing. Above all else, her most important role was being a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Cheryl found great joy in caring for her family and was happiest when cooking for loved ones or tending to her garden. Her kindness, generosity, and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert Waseman, whom she married on February 1, 1969; her son, R. Brian (Stefani) Waseman; her daughter, Bobbie (Tom) Riegler; her grandchildren, Katie Riegler, Jake Riegler, Zack Riegler, Adam Brown, and her greatgrandchildren, Jayden, Jordan, Penelope and 4 sisters. In addition to her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Emily E. Waseman.

Per Cheryl’s wishes, there will be no formal services at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
