Charles E. Wright Jr., Age 78 of Minerva Ohio, passed away Tuesday February 2, 2016, from a brave short battle with cancer. He was born July 28, 1937 in Shinnston, West Virginia to Charles and Elsie (Higgins) Wright Sr. He retired from PCC in 2000 where he worked for 35 years. He is a past master of Augusta Lodge #504 F&AM, 32nd degree Scottish Right, of Steubenville. He loved fishing, hunting, woodworking, cooking and his award winning barbeque sauce.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Olive (Randolph) Wright of whom he married June 24, 1958; 5 children, Richard (Carol) Wright of East Liverpool, Melanie (William) Griffith of Canton, Kimberly (Jim) Westfall of Dellroy, Sharlene (John) McFadden of Pattersonville, and Chuck (Denee) Wright III of Minerva, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren that he adored and loved. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Seevers.

Masonic services will be held Friday at 6:00 pm at the Gotschall Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva, followed by the funeral services at 6:15 pm, officiating by Pastor Robert Gadd. Calling hours will be held 4-6 pm prior to the services. The family wishes to thank Crossroads Hospice for their support and care in this troubled time.
