Charles E. Wilson Sr.

Age 69, of Minerva, died Monday, Aug. 2, 2021 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born April 10, 1952 in Logan, WV to the late Jerry and Lucretia (Cummings) Wilson. He was a roofer and sandblaster for many years.  He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila (Tackach) Wilson whom he married Oct. 15, 1983, 2 daughters, Elizabeth Wilson of Minerva, Samantha Wilson of Malvern, 2 sons, Matthew Wilson of Belmont, Charles Wilson Jr. of Minerva, sister, Debbie (Damian) Natal of Cleveland, 4 brothers, Jerry (Phyllis) Wilson of WV, Donald (Benita) Cummings of Portsmouth, Dewayne (Elaine) Booth of Cleveland, David Dailey of New Washington, OH, 6 grandchildren, Chloe, Caden and Carlee Bryant, Abby Sizemore, Dominic Benedict and Brayden Wilson. He is preceded in death by a brother, Troy Wilson and a granddaughter, Aubrianna Wilson.

Calling hours will be Friday from 6-8 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva.
