Charles T. Watts Jr.
Age 98, of Paris, went home to be with the Lord and Savior Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020 in Aultman Compassionate Care. He was born Feb. 10, 1922 in Richwood, WV to Charles and Veva (Moore) Watts Sr. He retired in 1987 as a letter carrier for the US Post Office and had worked at Monarch Rubber, Timken Roller Bearing and was a hobby farmer. He graduated from Richwood High School in WV and is a WWII US Army Veteran. He is a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Homeworth and was a founding member of the Grace Brethren Church in Minerva.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dolores (Preising) Watts who died in 2004, daughter, Jean Watts and 2 sons, Charles and Thomas Watts, 2 grandsons, a granddaughter, a great grandson and 12 brothers and sisters. He is survived by 2 daughters, Marnie (Charles) Boord of Paris, Gayle Ann (Ted) Zernechel of Sylvania, brother, Zeno Watts of Rittman, 18 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 29 great great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held with full military honors on Monday, Oct. 5 at 1:00 pm in the Henry Warstler Cemetery in Canton with Rev. Dave Cannon officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Homeworth.
