Charles Neff
Age 72, of Minerva, died Friday, Aug. 7, 2015 in Aultman Compassionate Care. He was born July 27, 1943 in Elksfork, WV to Frederick and Zelma (Rice) Neff. He retired from TRW in Minerva and had worked for American Steel in Alliance. He is a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and member of the Minerva American Legion #357.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Doris (Mathis) Neff whom he married March 16, 1968, daughter, Tracy (Jeff) Blair of Minerva, brother, James Neff of Elksfork, WV, ½ brother, Derwin Mercer of WV, 2 grandchildren, Macala and Isaac Blair and brother-in-law, Pete (Sherry) Mathis of Minerva. He is preceded in death by a son, Charles Neff, sister, Laura Vankamp, aunt, Alice Straight and a brother, Frederick Neff.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015 at Heritage Memorial Gardens with Pastor Dale Roberts officiating. Calling hours will be held one hour prior to services at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home.
