Charles L. Harsh, age 82, of Malvern, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 in the Brewster Park Senior Living Center. He was born May 31, 1932 in Malvern to Charles and Mabel (Stackhouse) Harsh. He is a retired truck driver from North Canton Transfer and had worked for several years for Furey Motors in Malvern after retirement and is a graduate of Malvern High School.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ella (Schafer) Harsh, who died Jan. 19, 2014; and a sister, Thelma Jean Cottrell. He is survived by 2 daughters, Sherry Harsh of Fresno and Joan (Bob) Wessel of Canton; 2 sons, Charles (Tina) Harsh of Cape Coral, FL and David (Tammy) Harsh of Navarre; a sister, Joan Schmidt of Oneida; several grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Saturday at 12 noon in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Fr. Victor Cinson officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
