Charles R. Casler

Age 69, of Minerva, died Friday, June 14, 2019 in Aultman Compassionate Care. He was born November 21, 1949 in Canton to Charles and Genvieve (Sadowski) Casler. He graduated from Louisville High School. He worked for Timken and retired after 30 years of service. He was the member of the Steel Workers Union and Golden Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Maria (Prins) Casler, whom he married March 19, 2003; a daughter, Michele Casler of Canton; a sister, Darlene (Rick) Buck of Minerva; 2 brothers, Jim (Kellie) Casler of Minerva, Tim (Mary) Casler of Canton and a granddaughter, Lydia of Nashville, TN. He is preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Monnot; 2 brothers, Raymond "Butch" Casler, Richard Casler.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be Thursday, at 2:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating.
