Charles A. Binkley

Age 75, of Minerva, died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021 in Mercy Medical Center. He was born Oct. 9, 1945 in Akron to Alvin and Ruth Ann Binkley. He was an accountant for Goodyear, Wingfoot and Huntsman in Carrollton and retired from Mercy Medical Center in Canton where he worked in the Emergency Department.  He graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School and received a Bachelor's in Accounting from the University of Akron. He is a US Army Veteran and is a member of the Grace Chapel in Minerva and formerly the Minerva Great Trail Church of God.

He is survived by his wife, Donna (Hamilton) Binkley whom he married Aug. 12, 1989, 2 sons, Todd (Jessica) Dray and B.J. (Farrah) Dray, daughter, Laura (Jon) Cross all of Minerva, sister, Kathy (Joseph) Gajovski of Cuyahoga Falls, 7 grandchildren; Tyler Dray, Elizabeth Dray, Madison Cross, Carter Cross, Hailey Dray, Nathan Dray and Miranda (Chris) Feltrup and a great grandson, Boone.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 12 noon in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. David Guess officiating. Burial will be in Sandy Valley Cemetery in Waynesburg. Calling hours will be Saturday one hour prior to services from 11-12 at the funeral home.
