Charlene "Sis" Ruff

Age 85, of Minerva, died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2017 in the Arbors of Minerva. She was born Nov. 6, 1931 in Canton to Ira and June Large. She had worked for Thermodevices in Minerva and was a crossing guard for Minerva Local Schools.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Ruff who died in 2015; a sister, Norma Coliacovo; a brother, Bruce Large; and a great granddaughter, Abigail Dunbar. She is survived by 2 daughters, Jody (Greg) Holtz of Estero, FL, Jennifer (Ted) Dunbar of Canton; son, Greg (Diane) Ruff of Minerva; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services.
