Catherine S. McNutt
Age 63, of Carrollton, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2014 in Aultman Compassionate Care. She was born April 21, 1951 in Canton to the late Robert and D. Jean (Ward) Dieringer. She was the co-owner and bookkeeper for Jim's Custom Meats in East Canton. A 1969 graduate from Minerva High School, she received an Associate's Degree in early childhood education from Stark State. She is a member of the Minerva First Christian Church where she played the organ and piano for over 40 years.
She is survived by her husband, Jim McNutt whom she married Nov. 28, 1969, 4 children; Amy (Matt) Eggerton of Midvale, Mindy (Eric) Hahn of West Lafayette, Jared (Melissa) McNutt of Carrollton and Kamie (Scott) Anderson of Gnaddenhutten, sister, Shari Sine of Paso Robles, CA, 14 grandchildren; Justin (Sarah) Eggerton, Caitlin (Matt) Compston, Travis Eggerton, Tyler, Tristan and Jenna Hahn, Lauren, Landon, Lillian and Lennon McNutt, Nathan Jentes, Brandon, Kyle and Kinsey Anderson and 2 great grandchildren; Cadi and Owen Compston. She is preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Ramsey.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. Burial will be in Baxter's Ridge Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
