Carolyn M. Willis, age 74, of Minerva, died Friday, April 26, 2013. She was born October 8, 1938 in Alliance, OH to the late William Sutcliffe and Mary (Barnett) Gurney of Minerva. She worked as a nurse, was a 1955 graduate of Alliance High School, graduated as an LPN from Mercy, and was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, the Minerva Eagles Aux. and the Minerva VFW Aux.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Willis; 1 brother, Marvin Sutcliffe; and her father, Eugene Gurney.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Cheryl (Darrell) Zwick of Minerva; 2 sons, Bruce (Donna) Willis of Sebring, Brian (Glenda) Willis of Canton; Sister-in-law Aurelia Sutcliffe of Alliance; Brother and Sister-in-law, Dale (Doris) Garlock of Sebring; grandchildren, Darren, Jennifer, Eric, Evan, and Kirsten Zwick, Mary Frances, Hope, Faith, Charity, Riley and Benjamin Willis, Erica and Audrina McIntyre.

Funeral services will be Monday at 7:00 p.m. at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Fr. Victor Cinson officiating. Calling hours will be Monday form 5-7 p.m. in the funeral home. Those unable to attend may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
