Carolyn S. Wells, age 65 of Waynesburg, died Tuesday Feb. 19, 2013 in Hennis Care Center in Bolivar. She was born July 26, 1947 in Canton to Clarence and Ada (Cross) Goddard. She had been a restaurant cook having worked for Walker's Corner in Minerva and Wackerly's in Malvern.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, L. Stan Wells whom she married Aug. 20, 1981, 2 sons; Gary (Donna) Cole Jr. of Waynesburg and Jerry Goodwin of Marietta, 2 sisters; Nancy Pennington of Toledo and Janet Baxter of Boliver, 5 grandchildren; Sarah (Jesse) Hershberger of Magnolia, Shawn Clark of Waynesburg, Amanda Clark of Waynesburg, Logan Cole of Walnut Cove, NC and Andy Pickens of Marietta and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday Feb. 22, 2013 at 8 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Norman cox officiating. Calling hours will be held from 6- 8 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
