Carole Ann Weir

With our family's deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Carole Ann Weir after a gradual decline in health.  At the Age 77, she peacefully passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Aultman Hospital. She was born August 19, 1941 in Minerva to John and M. Kathryn (Morris) Mease. She graduated from Minerva in 1959. She was the Co-owner of Electronic Service in Minerva and the Little Forest Inn in Malvern. She loved socializing with her friends and family, taking care of her animals, watching NCIS and wintering in Naples, FL.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Weir who died in 2009 and a brother, William Mease. She is survived by a daughter, Deborah (Jim) Blind of Wadsworth; a son, Bradley (Lori) Patton of Minerva; a sister, Janet Witherspoon of Minerva; a brother, John (Marge) Mease, Jr. of Sterling Heights, MI; sister in law, Cindy Mease of N. Canton; 5 grandchildren, Graham J. Blind, Bradley Patton, Jr. Brittany Patton, Brianna Toler, Jesse Patton; 2 great grandchildren, Addison and Bowen; beloved nieces and nephews, honorary family members, countless friends and caregivers.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11:00am at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home with Rev. Harley Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in the East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Friday 5-8pm and 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Society .
