Carole L. Ray

Age 82, of Minerva, passed away, Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023 in the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton. She was born May 13, 1941 in Canton to Robert and Margaret (Weaver) Elton. She was a beautician and Housewife.  She is a member of the Minerva First Christian Church and she graduated from Minerva High School in 1959.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sheldon Ray who died in 2000, son, Shawn Ray who died in 2009 and 3 brothers, Harry and Bob Elton and John Billiter. She is survived by 2 grandchildren, Tiffanie (Shane) Campbell, Zachary (Krista) Ray, 4 great grandchildren, Murphie, Ella, Asa and Adalynne and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 12 noon in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating.
