Carol A. Stowe

Age 82, of Minerva passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 in the Minerva Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born April 3, 1942 in Blandville, WV to Frank and Hazel (Cumpston) Ross.  She was a nurse's aid at Crandall Medical Center for 25 years.  She graduated from Johnstown High School in Johnstown, PA. Carol loved spending her free time sewing or doing crochet or an exciting game of Bingo and spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Stowe who died in 2022 and 12 brothers and sisters including Edna Booher, nieces and nephews; Mike Ross, Jim Ross, Darlene Smarr, Debbie Fimple and Pat Ross.  She is survived by 3 daughters, Pamela (Steven) Cooper of Minerva, Kimberly Tennant of Minerva, Teresa (Steven) Hall of Massillon, son, George "Kevin" (Debbie) Riddell of Alliance, 3 stepdaughters, Linda Sue Ward, Bonnie McElwain, Beth Lanham, a special sister-in-law, Linda Mann of Beloit, 16 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and a great great grandson.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 15th at 4:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating.  Calling hours will be held 2 hours prior to services from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. A dinner for family and friends will be held in the Minerva Salute Hall following services.
