Carole J. Reckner

Age 85, of Minerva, died Thursday, April 7, 2022. She was born March 13, 1937 in Georgetown, PA to the late Paul and Anna Mae (Weimer) Hewitt. She was a housewife.  She graduated from Midland High School in 1955 and is a member of the Minerva First Christian Church and the Minister's Sunday School Class.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Reckner who died in 2020, son, Samuel Reckner, a brother, Gary Hewitt and a grandson, Patrick Humphrey.  She is survived by 2 daughters, Marilyn (Matt) Humphrey of Columbus, Carolyn French of Hartville, son, Bill (Tammy) Reckner of Harrisburg, OH, 3 sisters, Judith Shannon of Hookstown, PA, Paula (Ed) Jackson of Naples, FL, Linda (Tom) Moore of Hookstown, PA, 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren with one on the way.

Private family services will be held with burial in Liberty Cemetery.
