Bruce D. Fankhauser

Age 65, of Minerva, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2021 in Cleveland Clinic - Mercy Hospital in Canton. He was born Jan. 21, 1956 in Canton to Arthur and Isabell (Steves) Fankhauser. He retired from Ohio Paper and Tube where he was a machinist for over 30 years.  He graduated from Minerva High School in 1975.  He loved fishing and hunting and being in the outdoors and working in his garden.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki (Clemens) Fankhauser whom he married April 4, 1998; 2 daughters, Christina (Suzanne) Zayak of MI, Nicole (Samantha) Fankhauser of Canton; son, Hunter Fankhauser of Minerva; sister, Dorothy Farber of Minerva; 4 brothers, Rich (Marilyn) Fankhauser of Mt. Joy, PA, Bill (Helen) Fankhauser of Canton, Larry (Sharon) Fankhauser of Minerva, Eugene Fankhauser of Minerva; and many beloved nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Juanita Keister, Mary Hardesty; and 2 brothers, Charles and Bob "Nub" Fankauser.

Family and friends are all invited to a visitation on Sunday from 2-4 pm at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva.  Following the visitation, you can join the family at John & Helen's for food, fellowship and remembrance.
