Bruce E. Buck, age 85, of Minerva, passed away, Friday, Nov. 21, 2014 in the Salem Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born Sept. 9, 1929 in Middlebourne, WV to Hugh and Ida (Harter) Buck. He attended Tyler County School. He is a retired welder from Alliance Ware and Crane Co. and was a beef farmer. He is a US Army Veteran.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Marion Janet (Metz) Buck who died in 1986; 4 brothers, Onward "Buss", Brady, Floyd and Junior Dale Buck; 2 sisters, Opal Long and Irene Haven and a grandson, Guy Edward Nelson Green.

He is survived by a daughter, Barbara (Jim) Snoeberger of Hollsopple, PA; 2 sons, Rick (Darlene) Buck of Minerva and Bruce (Debra) Buck Jr. of Kensington; sister, Elizabeth (Ray) Lancaster of Weirton, WV; sister-in-law, Inez Buck of New Martinsville, WV; 3 grandchildren; Maranda Buck, Jeremy (Kathy) Buck and Jesse James Green; 2 great grandchildren, Austin and Jacob Buck; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Liberty Cemetery.
