Brit A. Reed, age 24, of Hanoverton, died Monday, October 17, 2011 from a job related accident, doing the job he loved. He was born April 21, 1987 in Alliance, OH, worked at Young Sales and Service in Perry and was a 2006 graduate of Minerva High School and Perry High School.

He is greatly loved by his father and step mother, James and Jacki (Weikart) Reed; Mother, Steffanie (Kollar) Reed; 2 sisters, Kimberly (Robert) Howell, Jr. and Elissa (Sean) Reed-Smith; 2 brothers, Terrance (Kimmie) Reed, James "Chris" (Sherry) Reed and Lisa Reed; grandparents, Rev. Donald and Rachel Rice; aunts and uncles, Dennis Reed, John Reed, Katharine Buehman, Richard Kollar and John Buehman, Sr.; nieces and nephews, Brandon (Jen) Reed, Morgan (Dustin Raper) Reed, Madyson, Kayleigh and Matthew Reed, Robby, Josh, Brandon, Logan and Brenna Howell; cousin, Wendy Reed; best friend, Steve Murphy; his beloved dogs, Cowboy Charlie, Bandit Bubby Bear, Zeus and Diamond Lilly, and many family, friends and co-workers.

Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Rice officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to any animal rescue.
