Brian W. Dexter

Age 56, of Malvern, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2021 in University Hospital in Cleveland.  He was born Oct. 10, 1965 in Salem to Eileen (Whitehead) (Dexter) Barnby of Salem and the late George Dexter. He was a home improvement specialist and owner of Dexter and Son Home Improvement Company. He is a member of the Salem Bible Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing and building projects with his sons and grandson and loved spending time with family.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Jeannette (Cotto) Dexter whom he married March 24, 1984, 3 sons, Brian Dexter II of Massillon, Bobby Dexter of Malvern, Joshua Dexter of Malvern, 2 sisters, Sheila (Floyd) Lancaster of Massillon, Shari Sanders of Louisville, brother, Jeffrey (Julie) Dexter of Carrollton, 8 grandchildren, Wyatt, Alyssa, Doc, Liam, Shelby, Gavin, Brody and Noah, several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Brent and Roger Dexter.

Funeral services will be Friday at 12 noon in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor David Crosley officiating. Burial will be in Heritage Memorial Gardens. Calling hours will be Thursday 6-8 pm and Friday 2 hours prior to services from 10-12 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family to help with expenses.
