Brenda K. Haught

Age 68, of Minerva passed away Friday, March 29, 2024 in the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton.  She was born Nov. 16, 1955 in Salem to the late Charles Junior and Emojean (Burchett) Lewis.  She was a registered nurse having worked for Alliance Community Hospital, Affinity Hospital in Massillon and was a traveling nurse.  She graduated from Minerva High School in 1974, received her nursing degree from Malone and her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Walsh University.  She is a member of the Minerva First Christian Church, the Ohio Nursing Association.  She was a Minerva Football Mom and enjoyed being active in all the kids sports throughout the years.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Steven Haught whom she married Feb. 16, 1974, 2 sons, Jason (Katie Reisling) Haught of Minerva, Justin (Mandy) Haught of Minerva, daughter, Emma Jean Haught of Minerva, brother, Ricky (Lisa) Lewis of Minerva, 3 grandchildren, Jayden Alan Haught, Devon Taylor Rose, Arianna Haught, nieces and nephews, Megan (Kyle) Danner, Alex Lewis, Kala Jo Eddy, Jackson Danner, Hazelynn Lewis, sister-in-law, Kathy Jo Eddy and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and their families.

Following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday April 6, 2024 at 5:00 pm in the Minerva VFW.  Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.  Memorial contributions may be made to any youth sports program for the area children.
