Bonnie L. Parrish

Age 63, of Minerva, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2018 in her home. She was born May 31, 1955 in Alliance to the late Vincent and Margaret (McGuire) Scuro. She was a housewife and had worked as an aid for Minerva Local Schools and for the YMCA Day Care. She is a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church where she was an active volunteer with the annual boutique, fish fries and other functions throughout the year. She graduated from St. Edward High School in 1973.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Lee Parrish, whom she married Sept. 7, 1974; a daughter, Stacey (Greg) Petros of Uniontown; a son, Shad (Dana) Parrish of Aurora, CO; sisters, Sharon Shotwell of Minerva, Kathy (Randy McCaully) Hein of Minerva; a brother, Jimmy (Yvonne) Scuro of Minerva; brother-in-law, Jim Hutto of Augusta; 6 grandchildren, Grady, Elizabeth, Luke, Hailey, Aiden and Drew. She is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Kay Hutto.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Gabriel Catholic Church with Fr. Victor Cinson as celebrant. Calling hours will be one hour prior to the funeral at the church.
