Blanche Prendergast, age 90, of Minerva, died Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in Aultman Hospital. She was born March 1, 1925 in Littleton, WV to John and Mary (Anderson) Stahl. She was a housewife and retired from PCC in Minerva where she had worked for 15 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Prendergast who died in 2005; son, Kenneth Prendergast; daughter-in-law, Mary
Prendergast; brother, Wilbur Stahl; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

She is survived by 4 daughters, Mary Lou (Dale) Buckman, Grace (Terry) Hoyt of East Rochester, Connie Sue (Kenny) Gandee of Minerva and Corita Prendergast of Minerva, 3 sons, Paul (Sharon) Prendergast of Bremen, IN, Eugene Prendergast of Minerva and Frank (Jackie) Prendergast of Columbiana; 2 sister, Della (Paul) Kolb of Cullman, AL and Dorothy (Tom) Horton of Cullman, AL; brother, Samuel (Liz) Stahl of PA; 28 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; and 26 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Jayme Gandee officiating. Burial will be in Moultrie Chapel Cemetery.
