Betty L. Troyer

Age 81, of Massillon, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2026 in the Amherst Meadows Nursing Home in Massillon. She was born Oct. 23, 1944 in Richwood, WV to William and Dorothy (Claypool) Sloane. She was a home health aid for the Mayle Homes. Her family was very important to her and she loved them all and loved spending time with them and enjoyed the simple things in life like a good game of bingo or pizza night.

She is survived by a daughter, Joann (Joe) Anatra of Massillon, 3 sons, Timmy (Kathy) Troyer of Hanoverton, Steve (Laurie) Troyer of Beloit, Scott Troyer of Hanoverton, 3 sisters, Shirley Daniel of Alliance, Sharon (Danny) Duley of Warren, Darlene (Ron) Kirkbride of Berlin Center, 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by 2 sons, Kevin and Thomas Troyer, 3 sisters, Helen Mayle, Loretta Fairchild, Hazel Pugh and 2 brothers, Harlen and Bobby Pugh.
