Betty May Martin, age 86, of Parrish, FL and formerly Minerva, died Monday, February 27, 2017 in the Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, FL. She was born July 27, 1930 in Minerva to Homer and Louise (Kutz) Kistner. She had worked for PCC Airfoils in Minerva. She is a member of the Minerva First Christian Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Louise (Richard) Darder of Parrish, FL; 2 sons, Kevin Martin of Carrollton and Michael Martin of Beaver Dam, AZ; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Mary Jane Telford, Dorothy Hafner, Phillis Hines, Sara Calhoun, Robert, John and LeRoy "Whitey" Kistner.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Saturday, April 8 at 2:30 p.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com .
