Betty M. Kistner, age 85, of Malvern, died Monday, May 19, 2014 in the Great Trail Care Center in Minerva. She was born October 30, 1928 in Deerfield to Kenneth and Blanche (Burkey) Young. She was a housewife and was the manager of a mobile home park in CA for many years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Homer LeRoy "Whitey" Kistner who died in 1997; 2 sons, William Brooks, Jr. and Kelly Brooks; brother, John Young. She is survived by a daughter, Nita Walker of Malvern; stepson, Larry Kistner of Alliance; brother, Kenneth (Dee) Young Jr. of Fairgrove, Missouri; 4 grandchildren, Butch Phillips of Malvern, Travis Brooks of TN, Robin (Bill) Ennis of Hartville, Rebecca Brooks of TN; 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
