Betty J. Bush

Age 94, of Canton passed away Monday, March 25, 2024 in the Canton Christian Home.  She was born Aug. 17, 1929 in Canton to Clyde and Eva (Morris) Stauffer. She was a housewife, church secretary and bookkeeper and she volunteered for many hours at the Canton Christian Home gift shop.  She graduated from Springfield High School and attended Cincinnati Seminary.

She is preceded in death by her husband, F. William Bush who died in 2020 and a sister, Lois Ridenhour.  She is survived by a daughter, Linda (James) Lucas of DeMotte, IN, 3 sons, David (Terri) Bush of Malvern, James (Jean) Bush of Hillsboro, John (Peggy) Bush of Salem, a sister, Marian Covey of Surprise, AZ, 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva.  Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.  Calling hours will be one hour prior to services from noon to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
