Bertha Marie "Dee" Wright
Age 74, of Malvern, died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 in the Great Trail Care Center in Minerva. She was born Sept. 29, 1939 in Elba, OH to Herschel and Goldie (Clark) Stack. She was a housewife and co-owner of Forest Lanes in Kensington. She is a member of the Malvern First Christian Church and a 25 yr. member of Carroll Chapter #315 O.E.S. She was an avid bingo player and bowler and loved to travel. She loved her family and her life revolved around the seven men in her life.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce Wright whom she married Aug. 17, 1958, 3 sons, Bruce (Ronda) Wright II of Minerva, Jamie (Rebecca) Wright of Minerva and Brian Wright and Emma Walters of Sherrodsville, 2 sisters, June Hardy of Malvern, Bonnie Casper of Malvern, 2 brothers, William Stack of Minerva, Luther (Cathy) Stack of Minerva, 3 grandsons all of Minerva, Jamie S. "Chip" Wright, Taylor Wright and Connor Wright, 3 step grandchildren Dakota, Andrew and Demi. She is preceded in death by a sister, Glenna Rodgers and a brother, James Stack.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Mr. Eric Crites officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday 2-4 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Forest Lanes to benefit the youth bowling league.
