Bernard Morrison, Jr.
Age 60, of Minerva, died Sat., Jan. 11th, 2014 in Aultman Hospital. He was born Aug. 28, 1953 in Canton to Roseann (Jantosik) Morrison of Paris and the late Bernard Morrison, Sr. He graduated from Minerva High School in 1971 and attended a year of business college. He had worked several jobs including for the R. C. Miller Co., Structural Stoneware, the Kopp Clay Co., and DLH Industries. He is a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Kay (Speakman) Morrison whom he married Sept. 1, 1984, sister, Bernice Morrison of Canton, brother, William Morrison of Paris, and a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Gilbert Ray of Loganville, GA.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be Saturday at 10 am in St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva with Fr. Victor Cinson as celebrant. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday evening 6-9 pm at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva.
