Benny Greco

Age 68, passed away unexpectedly July 17, 2017 at his home in Wesley Chapel, FL.

He retired from the State of Florida. Benny enjoyed gardening and cooking.  He was an avid Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan and Tampa Bay Rays fan.  Originally from Minerva, he was a star basketball athlete in the Minerva High School class of 1967, which earned him a scholarship to West Virginia University.  He once played an exhibition game against the Harlem Globetrotters.  His philosophy, "What do we live for, if it is not to make life less difficult for each other." (George Eliot)  He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Vince and Jean Greco.  He is survived by his wife, Jessica; sons, Dominic and Dion; son and daughter, Eric and Megan Belden of Canton; sister, Yvonna and Kathryn, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a future date.
