Obituary
Bennie L. Locke, age 88, of Minerva, died Monday, June 11, 2012 in the Aultman Compassionate Care Center. He was born May 4, 1924 in Carbon Hill, OH to Howard and Therma (Young) Locke. He retired from Republic Steel where he was a millwright after over 30 years of service. He is a WWII US Army Veteran and member of the Malvern American Legion Post #375 and a social member of the Minerva VFW Post #4120.
He is survived by a brother, Lynn "Cutty" Locke of Barryton, MI and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his companion, Mary Guest; sister, Amy Jo Taylor and 3 brothers, Richard, Paul and John Locke.
Following cremation, military graveside honors will be performed at a later date in East Lawn Cemetery.
