Bart D. Smith
Age 54, of Canton and formerly Carrollton, died Monday, Feb. 2, 2015. He was born March 6, 1960 in Akron. He was a pressman for Carrollton Graphics and Barnhart Printing in Canton and was a farmhand. He graduated from Carrollton High School and was a former youth coach in the Carrollton area having coached Baseball, Softball and Wrestling.
He is survived by his father, Donzil Smith of Bolivar, life partner, Glenda Smith of Louisville, daughter, Sara Smith of Louisville, son, Justin (Kristen) Smith of Minerva, sister, Donna Killeen of Bolivar, 2 brothers, Troy (Janet) Smith of Dover and Alan (Angie) Smith of Sherrodsville, best friend Randy of Canton and the light of his life, his two granddaughters, Kaitlynn and Breana Smith and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Madelyn (Taylor) Smith and a sister Peggy McCullough.
Following cremation, a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Feb. 7th at 4:00 pm in the Firehouse in Zoar.
