Barry L. Stowe, age 68, of Minerva, died Wed., Sept. 10, 2014 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born Jan. 17, 1946 in Alliance to Robert and Frances (Willard) Stowe. He was the retired owner of Stowe Plumbing and Heating in Minerva. He is a member of the New Franklin United Methodist Church, a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, Past President of the Vietnam Veterans of American Chapter #157 in Alliance, lifetime member of the Minerva American Legion Post #357, Tubal Lodge #551 F&AM and Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Canton.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sharon (Patterson) Stowe whom he married Sept. 18, 1966; 2 daughters, Rhonda (Tyler) Zeedrich of Minerva and Kelli (Sean) Davis of Minerva; brother, Terry (Shirley) Stowe of New Franklin; 6 grandchildren, Taylor, Quade, Zane, Storm, Scout and Skye.

Following cremation a memorial service will be held Saturday at 7pm in the New Franklin United Methodist Church with Rev. Elaine Weaver officiating. Masonic Services and full military honors will be given prior to services. Calling hours will be held 5-7pm Sat. at the church prior to services.
