Barry L. Green

Age 65, of Minerva, lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021 in Aultman Hospital.  He was born May 18, 1956 to the late Earl Green and Donna (Morrow) (Green) Gilliam. He had worked for Colfor in Malvern and graduated from Minerva High School in 1976. Barry had an immense love for the outdoors as well as using his skills to work on and fix anything mechanical. He also enjoyed playing golf, going hunting and buggy rides with his granddaughters.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie (Monte) Green whom he married Aug. 22, 1986, 3 sons, Jon Green, Eric Green, Josh (Sierra) Green, daughter, Kristin Gilliam, 4 grandchildren, Sierra and Connor Green, Jaycee and Alexis Green, brother, Gary Green, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Henry and Scharlene Monte, daughter-in-law, Jen Green; and will be deeply missed by his faithful companion, Diesel. He is preceded in death by his mother and father and 2 brothers, Larry and Terry Green.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 7:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. John Carpenter officiating.  Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
