Barbara A. Wise
Age 82, of Paris, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2014 in the Alliance Community Hospital. She was born Feb. 16, 1932 in Paris to Fred and Mildred (Meiser) Kenny. She was a dispatcher for the Minerva Phone Company and a Housewife. She graduated from Minerva High School in 1950 and is a member of the Paris First Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Harold Wise whom she married Jan. 7, 1953, daughter, Vicki Wise of Paris, 2 grandsons, Joey Ray (Chelsea) Lilley and Michael Joseph (Katelynn Halt) Zimmerman, 2 great grandchildren, Schaeffer and Spencer Lilley. She is preceded in death by a son, Keith Alan Wise, a sister, Marilyn Strauss and 3 brothers, George, James and Richard Kenny.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Virginia Birks officiating. Burial will be in Paris Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
