Barbara Elaine Vick

age 60, of League City, TX and formerly the Minerva and Guilford Lake area, passed from this life to be with her Savior on Feb. 11, 2022. She was born July 11, 1961 in Alliance to Robert and Wanda Zaugg. She grew up in East Rochester and attended school in Minerva graduating in 1979. She worked as a Registered Nurse and most recently worked in hospice care. Barbara loved life. She was very involved with family, church and community. She was an avid quilter, music lover, bird watcher, and enjoyed reading and kayaking.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Perry Vick in 2011, her parents Robert and Wanda Zaugg and an infant brother, Brent Zaugg.  She is survived by a daughter, Erin (John) Moriner, sisters, Nancy Cooper and Caryl (Glen) Thompson, nieces, Katie (Scott) Welch, Amy (Ralph) Accardo, nephew, Steve (Christine) Kohl, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and countless friends.

A memorial service will be Tuesday, June 28 ^th at 10:00 am in the East Rochester United Methodist Church with Linda Baker officiating.  After the service, Barb's ashes will be interred Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman at 1:15 pm followed by a gathering at Mark's Landing near Guilford Lake.
