Barbara J. Mingus

Age 78, of Malvern, died Saturday, July 29, 2017 in her home.  She was born July 15, 1939 in Lake Milton, Ohio to Albert and Sylvia (Smith) Arkenburgh. She was a homemaker and member of the Waynesburg Free Will Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Mingus, Sr., whom she married Aug. 26, 1995; 3 daughters, Cathy Frost of MD, Tammy (Kenny) Court of Malvern, Sharon Mingus of Canton; 4 sons, Donald (Edith) Mingus Jr. of Canton, Richard (Michelle) Mingus of CA, Frank (Mary) Mingus of Mechanicstown, Raymond (Rena) Mingus of Lisbon; daughter-in-law, Brenda Mingus of Homeworth; 6 stepchildren, Joyce Edwards, Sue Wackerly, Bill Mingus, Jr., Terry Mingus, Patricia Mingus and Michael Mingus; 2 sisters, Nancy (Charles) Elkins of Waynesburg, Alberta Passmore of Minerva; 3 brothers, Mel (Jeannie) Arkenburgh of Minerva, Raymond (Annie) Arkenburgh of Carrollton, David (Kay) Arkenburgh of Alliance, and lots of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son, Dean Mingus; 2 sisters, Sylvia Norton, Juanita Davidul; 2 brothers, Eugene and Albert Arkenburgh.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Raymond Arkenburgh officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
