Barbara E. Medved

Age 77, of Malvern, died Thursday, June 1, 2023 in the Arbor's of Minerva. She was born Jan. 2, 1946 in Canton to George and Pearl (Hamburg) Thompson. She had worked for GBS in Malvern.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Medved who died May 17, 2023 and a son, Jason Dulaney. She is survived by 3 daughters, April (Edward) Davis of Waynesburg, Lori Medved of Waynesburg, Annette Davidson of Canton South, son, Kevin (Suzanne) Medved of Wooster, sister, Shirley Beatty of Malvern, brother, Raymond Thompson of Oneida, 5 grandchildren, Tina Bruss, Kayla Medved, Amanda Stidham, Justin Carl, Tatum Davis and 6 great grandchildren.

A graveside service for both Barbara and Edward will be held Monday July 31st at 11:00 am in the Sandy Valley Cemetery in Waynesburg.  Military honors will be given to Edward by the US Air Force. Those wishing to send condolences may sign the online register at www.gotschallfuneralhome.com.
