Barbara S. Gill

age 62, of Minerva, Ohio, passed away on July 18, 2025, at Aultman Alliance Hospital. Barbara was born January 21, 1963 in Alliance to the late Dwain and Faye (Kelley) Cogan and raised in Minerva, where she graduated with the Class of 1981. She dedicated over 25 years of service as an administrative assistant at General Color in Minerva, where she was known for her professionalism, reliability, and kindness.

On July 24, 1988, she married the love of her life, Rickie L. Gill. Together they built a life full of love and laughter. She was a proud and devoted mother to her daughter, Nicole Lortz, and son-in-law, Richard Lortz.

Barbara was known for her adventurous spirit and her love of traveling with her family. Whether near or far, she cherished the memories made on every trip. A true sports enthusiast, Barbara was rarely seen without ESPN playing in the background—she never missed a game.

She was preceded in death by her sister Diane, brother Rodney, and sister Patricia. She is survived by her sister, Sarah (Derek) Gordon, and many beloved nieces and nephews, each of whom she loved as her own.

Barbara will be remembered for her warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering dedication to her family.
