Barbara J. Frigyes

Age 75, of Minerva, died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2018 in Mercy Medical Center. She was born Aug. 14, 1942 in Canton to the late George and Loretta (Malcuit) Lally. She was a homemaker, member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1960.

She is survived by her husband, Gary E. Frigyes whom she married April 11, 1964; 2 daughters, Rhonda (Darrin) Anguish of Minerva, Julie (Chuck Rearley) Frigyes of Minerva; son, Gary M. (Heather) Frigyes of Paris; 2 sisters, Donna (William) Schlabach of Canton, Mary (Keith) Luker of Colorado; brother, Thomas (Geraldine) Lally of Canton, 5 grandchildren; Ashley (Nathan) Garrett, Amber (Josh) Casper, Lexi Anguish, Lauren and Logan Frigyes, and one great granddaughter, Bryleigh Casper. She is preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Ertle and a brother, James Lally.

Calling hours will be Wednesday 6-8 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Father Victor Cinson officiating. Burial will be in Moultrie Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice.
