Barbara L. Carroll, age 78, of Minerva, died Wed., Feb. 24, 2016 in Aultman Hospital. She was born Sept. 19, 1937 in Fond du Lac, WI to Ralph and Esther (Henning) Floyd. She was a waitress for the Brown Derby in Canton and had been an Avon Consultant in the Minerva area. She attended Alliance High School and was a member of the Minerva Eagles Aerie #2199.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Carroll who died in 2003 and a sister, Judith Breit. She is survived by 2 daughters, Deborah (John) Carroll-Berecek of Carrollton and Linda Revels of Minerva, 4 sons, James (Judith) Carroll of Chicago, IL, Steven (Cynthia) Carroll of Murfreesboro, TN, David Carroll of Minerva and John Carroll of Minerva, brother, David Floyd of Alliance, 11 grandchildren including her 2 special grandsons, Shawn and Brian Carroll of Minerva and 6 great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Friday 6-8 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. Following cremation, burial will be in Augusta Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Assoc.
