Anthony "Tony" Marinucci

Age 65, of Malvern, died Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 12, 1953 in Canton to the late Ettore and Emma (Campomizzi) Marinucci. He was a steelworker at Republic Steel for 44 years. He was a member of Steelworkers Union Local #1200, an avid coin collector, he loved corvettes and old cars, and was a wood worker.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sherry (Jarrell) Marinucci whom he married Dec. 14, 1974, daughter, Megan (Randy Cole) Marinucci of Akron, son, T.J. Marinucci of Malvern, 3 sisters, Maria Marinucci of Canton, Nancy Newman of Lorain, Gloria (Rob) Slentz of Minerva, 2 brothers, Aldo (Penny) Marinucci of East Canton, John Marinucci of Canton, 2 grandchildren, Kimberlynn and Vincent Marinucci and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Father Victor Cinson officiating. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Cemetery in Malvern. Calling hours will be 2 hours prior to services on Saturday from 9-11 am.  Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice.
