Anna L. Yacklin

Age 86, of Paris, went to see the Lord and be at peace with her husband on Monday, April 20, 2026 in the Aultman Compassionate Care Center. She was born November 9, 1939 in Dellroy to Raymond R. and Helen Alice (Beamer) Scott. She was married to Anthony “Pete” Yacklin Jr. on June 29, 1958. She graduated from Minerva High School in 1957 and was employed by Grinders and Such in Minerva as a cook and a baker for many years. She had also worked as a baker for Buckeye Village in Alliance and an associate for J.C. Penny in Canton. She loved to cook and bake, do landscaping and make crafts and enjoyed going on bus trips.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony “Pete” Yacklin Jr. who died in 2001, 2 sisters, Viginia Willison, Carolyn Jordan, 3 brothers, Raymond, Ralph and Donald Scott. She is survived by a daughter, Belinda Yacklin, and 2 sons, Allen (Jane) Yacklin and Randy Yacklin all of Paris, 2 sisters, Kathy (Quinton) Metheny of WV, Darlene Dotson of VA, 3 grandchildren; Adam, Melissa, Melinda and 5 great grandchildren; Aiden, Arianna, Zane, Josh and Blake.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Kenny Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Heritage Memorial Gardens.
