Anna M. Byler

Age 89, of Minerva, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 in her home.  She was born Dec. 13, 1928 in Hartville to Rudy and Martha (Hostetler) Byler. She was a housewife and schoolteacher in a private school.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Amos Byler who died in 1993, daughter, Fannie Byler, son, Rudy Byler, 2 sisters, Christina Byler and Margaret Byler, 2 brothers, Roman and Joe Byler and 4 grandchildren.  She is survived by 2 daughters, Sadi Byler of Holmesville, Martha (Urie) Byler of Sagertown, PA, 4 sons, Jacob (Sarah) Byler of Mercer, PA, Urie Byler of Smicksburg, PA, Levi (Verna) Byler of Fort Plain, NY, Enos (Rhoda) Byler of Minerva, brother, Elmer (Louina) Byler, 33 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10:30 am in the Church of God in Christ Mennonite on Bandy Road in Alliance with Luke Stutzman and Sylvan Weaver officiating. Calling hours will be Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the church. Burial will be in the Spencer Amish Church Cemetery in Spencer, WI.
