IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anna Belle
Baer
November 1, 1931 – April 10, 2022
Anna Belle Baer
Surrounded by her loving family on April 10, 2022, Anna Belle Baer, born November 1, 1931, went home to be with our Lord. Anna was preceded in death by her late husband of 42 years, Carl Ellsworth Baer and her late parents Minnesota and Carl Motherspaugh. Anna and Carl had six children Deborah Masters (Clinton), Terri Baer, Lori Hunt (Harold), Craig Baer, Victoria Cox (David), and Rebecca Goldman (Lee).
Anna was blessed to live out the remainder of her life on her and her late husbands, Carl Baer, retired hobby farm with her six children, 11 grandchildren (Andrew, Heather, Brian, Kristine, Holly, Jessica, Alysse, Alexis, Carissa, Clay, and Evan), and 10 great grandchildren (Hannah, Aaron Kyle, Riley, Zachery, Natalie, Hunter, Nathan, Julia, Adalyn, and Cassie). Anna and her late husband, Carl Baer, in their earlier years started their life together in East Canton and eventually were able to build their dream family home together in Minerva that became the forever home, now referred to as "the farm" by family. Here they provided for their family not only with food from beef cattle, chicken, and the vegetable gardens, but also the morals and responsibilities that were instilled into the children. After Carl's passing Anna slowly retired the beef cattle but kept strong, providing her family with food with her impeccable green thumb that was also displayed in the abundance of beauty through her flower gardens. Anna later retired from Alliance Community Hospital to enjoy life. Anna's most loved hobbies were tending to and creating a colorful array of flower gardens and sewing. Every child/grandchild benefitted from her love of baking and cooking with her famous pancakes and delicious homemade meals. Spending time with family, whether babysitting, visiting, or gatherings, was something that brought such joy to Anna. Anna will not only live on through the memories we have created with her but through the values and lessons she taught everyone. She was an amazing wife, mother, grand-mother, and great-grandmother.
A celebration of life will be held on May 7 th for extended family only. Any condolences may be forwarded to the family through Gotschall-
Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva. www.gotschallfuneralhome.com
