Allen W. Hayhurst
Age 46 of Smithville and formerly Malvern died Friday Jan. 11, 2013 in his home. He was born March 9, 1966 in Alliance to Terry Dietz of East Sparta and the late Linda Hayhurst. He was a self-employed scrapper and attended the Marshallville Baptist Church.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his guardian angel, Pam Hunt, 4 daughters, Anna (Rob) Bolanz of Carrollton, Linda Hayhurst and fiancée, Rex Hambrick of Cincinnati, Christina Coffy of Carrollton and Laney Hayhurst of Carrollton, sister, Linda Lee Borland of Massillon, brother, Curtis "Ray" "Possum" Gillogly of Zanesville, 2 grandchildren, Christian and Kayleigh, nieces and nephews and their children; Amanda Healy (Chad, Caden, Cyle), Gary Shepherd (Madison, Mariah, Melody, Nathan), Devinney Shepherd (Lincoln, Kennedy), Danielle Shepherd (Hazel), Scott Gillogly (Christopher, Brianna, Colton).
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 8pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor Homer Watson officiating. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 6-8 pm in the funeral home. Private family burial will be on Wednesday in Bethlehem Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
