Alice M. Baker

Age 97, of Sebring, died Sunday, May 16, 2021 in Aultman-Alliance Hospital. She was born Feb. 10, 1924 in Mechanicstown to Alfred and Ora (Jolley) Toalston.  She was a homemaker and Nurses' Aid at the Alliance Community Hospital. She recently attended the Beloit Evangelical Friends Church. She lived in the Alliance area most of her life and enjoyed quilting, doing jig saw puzzles, embroidery, gardening, and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, W. Calvin Baker who died in 2002 and 3 brothers, Clifford, Cecil and Melvin Toalston, and 2 daughters-in-law, Mary Jane Baker, Judy Wittensoldner, brother-in-law, Frank Hudak, 3 sisters-in-law, Joan, Virginia and Fran Toalston.  She is survived by a daughter, Dianne (Greg) Baker of Somerset, MI, 6 sons, Ray Baker of Easton, MD, Lee Baker of Pittsburgh, PA, Dale (Amy) Baker of Bridgeville, PA, James (Karen) Baker of Boliver, David (Joanne) Baker of Minerva, Bryan (Anne) Baker of Austintown, sister, Mabel Hudak and friend Bill Miller of East Canton, 12 grandchildren; Melody, Ben, Amy, Richard, Christine, Alice, Daniel, Angela, Erika Starr, Brandon, Derrick and Tyler, and 21 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. David Parry officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery.
