Alex Joseph Miller
Age 13 of Minerva, passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016 at Alliance Community Hospital. He was born Oct. 2, 2002 in Akron. He was a 7th grader at Minerva Middle School where he played on the football and baseball team and was #16 of the "Cowbell family". He was fun loving, loved to make people laugh and was loved by many people.
He is survived by his parents, James and Stacey (Miller) Jenkins, brother, Gavin Jenkins and was a precious grandson to Thomas Miller of Alliance, Kelly Miller of Minerva, Ernie and Sue Schmachtenberger of Minerva, Dave and Carol Bolton of Alliance, Elaine Miller of Alliance and Jeanne Kennedy of Minerva, aunts and uncles, Shannon Miller, Andy Keller, Kristen and Ryan Smith, Adam Jenkins and Ernie Schmachtenberger Jr., numerous cousins, and other family members and friends.
A graveside funeral will be held Wed. at 11:00 am in the chapel at East Lawn Cemetery with Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. Calling hours will be Tuesday 4-8 pm in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva.
